How to talk

to candidates

Candidates size up crowds, count attendees and estimate votes. In local elections there' s an appallingly high number of people who are not sized up, counted or even estimated. They don't vote so their interests and values don't matter.

That’s why people who do show up with a goal get what they want and the none-voters get to complain later.

Be there.

Go the rallies and the meetings to ask questions. Insist on candidates' answers.

Post on their pages. Join a campaign.

Tell them what your interests are and what your values are — especially what you believe Canada should be doing about a genocide.

Stand up

Get out to vote and get your friends out with you.

Tell your kids and tell your workmates. Tell your parents too.

When candidates have the numbers, they have the power, the recognition … and the budget.‍ ‍
